bainbridge island wedding at the manor house | jason & kate

I can't say enough good things about Jason and Kate. These two met while attending Washington State University and have been in love ever since. One of the rainiest and most blustery August days awoke them on their wedding day and these two just couldn't be phased by it. Their wedding took place at The Manor House at Pleasant Beach, a very classy space just minutes from the Bainbridge Island ferry dock. Despite the blustery day making travel challenging for guests, we had a short window of time for Jason and Kate to do an outdoor "first look" and visit a nearby beach where we witnessed a massive tree fall into the bay. Weather like this could have stressed most people out on their wedding day but Jason and Kate continued to have the time of their lives. The couple put an incredible amount of attention to detail into their day to make sure it was the ultimate personalized celebration. Ivory and green florals complimented by the girls' burgundy gowns made for a beautiful palette. The couple toasted their nuptials with signature cocktails, had a poet typing up personalized poems to all of their guests during cocktail hour, offered to-go bags of popcorn and dog treats (for guests and their furry friends), and finished off the evening with a romantic walk through the rain in true Pacific Northwest style. A huge congratulations to this amazing duo!

The food was always great, I think they just updated their menu and it's off the hook. Who would expect delicious pizza at such big events. Not me, but you can get some of the best pizza there. The best event space Chicago in the area.
